Turbulence Training Review
Do you have three hours per week to spare for a great body?

If you do then Craig Ballantyne is the best fitness trainer you can get without having to actually hire him. Craig is a certified fitness trainer and creator of the popular Turbulence Training for Men and Turbulence Training for Women guides.

Craig’s fitness routines are designed for the average person with a busy lifestyle. Turbulence Training is a method that helps you to get rid of fat through weight training at home or at the gym. These routines are not for the typical muscle-building bodybuilder – in fact, Craig’s workout doesn’t appeal to most bodybuilders, since they like a lot of upper body strength training.

Turbulence Training is a series of well-rounded workouts that focuses on melting fat from the entire body. Craig doesn’t believe in “spot training” so you’ll work your upper body and lower body equally. What he does believe in is doing intense repetitions of each exercise for short intervals, and switching exercises frequently.

This frequent change and intensity makes your muscles work harder, and the harder they work, the harder your body works to burn fat. So, if you are lazy and don’t like exercise then Turbulence Training isn’t for you (sorry, just being honest). However, if you are sedentary, but have a desire to have a lean, athletic physique in four to six months, then you’ll be happy to know that you can do this program successfully.

There are beginner level exercises and Craig encourages sedentary people to start here. These exercises are very easy to do and won’t strain your body if you do them correctly. There is also an intermediate workout and several advanced level workouts. The beginner and intermediate workouts will suit most people’s needs.

Many of the exercises can be done without weights, but if you want to get the most out of these workouts at home, you’ll need to have handheld dumbbells, an exercise ball and an aerobic step. All exercises can be done comfortably at the gym (although a gym membership isn’t necessary).

You won’t be doing the workout everyday. Light exercise days (where you can do anything you like) and no exercise days are built into the program in order to let your body rest. Overdoing it is not recommended because you won’t really benefit from the extra training, as far as losing fat is concerned (and you’ll tire out your body too much).

All exercises in each workout level are thoroughly explained and demonstrated with color photos. There is even a set of stretches, which I think is nice because most programs tell us to stretch, but don’t show us the proper techniques.

The first few chapters are devoted to fitness education and answering popular questions about working out. Everything is explained in easy-to-understand language. The book is about 120 pages, and most of it features various workout routines and photo demonstrations for each level you are on – nothing is left to chance. You can print out the workouts and do them wherever you want.

Turbulence Training proves that the best exercise to lose weight is actually a well planned out workout routine that turns your body into a fat burning furnace. This is an excellent program for anybody who wants to permanently get rid of those love handles, that flabby belly fat and yes . . . those dreaded man boobs. Get off the couch and get working towards that lean body you’ve always wanted – yes, you really can do this.
